How I approach Executive LEadership

  I begin by listening—to staff, board members, and stakeholders—to understand where an organization truly stands. As an interim leader, I bring objectivity and clarity, free from the internal dynamics that often constrain permanent leadership. This allows me to surface what's working, name what’s not, and move decisively toward change. 

  Behind every strong mission is a solid back office. I bring a deep focus on core administrative functions—budgeting, compliance, HR systems, and internal workflows—that allow programs to thrive. I build operational infrastructure that reduces chaos and supports sustainable growth. 

 Nonprofits often grow in response to funding, not strategy—leading to fragmented programs and limited collaboration. I help organizations zoom out, reconnect their program work to core mission goals, and build alignment across initiatives. This includes refining how impact is measured, communicated, and coordinated across teams. 

  Too many nonprofits rely on outdated systems that create inefficiencies and burnout. I introduce accessible digital tools—from project management to AI-assisted workflows—that streamline operations, improve communication, and expand capacity. My goal is to modernize how nonprofits work, without overwhelming the people doing the work.
